THE BOAT

You will be fishing aboard a totally customised 2007 Ranger 2400 Bay. This is a One-of-a kind fishing machine, no other Ranger Bay 2400 is like this boat. The boatis powered by a 2007 E-Tec 250hp motor on a hydraulic jack-plate. Top speed is around 45mph. When in shallow water I use a 36volt Minn-Kota trolling motor, which moves my boat around 6mph. I carry a 8ft. push pole strictly for staking out when I find that perfect spot. A custom holder was designed for me by the wonderful people at Quality T-Tops in Tarpon Springs.

Gear

I have a Raymarine C80 GPS and Fish Finder, the dash was customized especially for me by the professionals at Jupiter Marine.

I use a varity of rods but the majority of them are a Quantum matched combo set with Power-Pro braided line. Yozuri flouro-carbon is my leader of choice, the size of leader depends on the conditions encountered for the day. I prefer to use Owner Circle hooks so as not to harm the fish that are released.
